Rosa & Ada was built at Whitstable , Kent in 1908 as an oyster smack. She has sailed as a charter vessel in Scottish waters since 1981. Charter groups are fully catered with a skipper and crew. The vessel complies fully with MCA safety coding.

Firth of Clyde sailings operate from her base at Troon Yacht Haven on the Ayrshire coast. West coast sailings during the summer generally operate from Oban.
